Seth Yacklin

A Bright Future

2022 was a year of growth and achievements for 22-year-old, Seth Yacklin.  Seth started an apprenticeship program with his father at Clark and Son’s Cabinets in New Philadelphia during the summer of 2022.  In November, Seth was offered a permanent part-time position working three days a week completing janitorial tasks.  By January of 2023, Seth received a promotion with more job responsibilities, along with his first pay raise. 

On his days off, Seth loves to spend summers volunteering at Harrison Hills Campground. His favorite activity is to help with is the weekly Mud War races.  He has made several good friends and is well known on the property.  Seth enjoys swimming, playing video games and participating in fun activities at the campground.  His family is most proud that he was awarded the Awesome Award at the end of the season at Harrison Hills. 

As if Seth is not busy enough, he attends Starlight Enterprises Inc. twice a week during the fall and winter months where he focuses on work skills and enjoys social activities.  Seth participates in job skills at Sander’s Markets, Meals on Wheels, and Napa Auto Zone. 

Seth’s future goals include obtaining a driver’s license and perhaps one day have a job working on cars.  He certainly has a bright future!
