The Carroll County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CarrollCBDD) recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic may result in some financial challenges for the provider community in Carroll County. CarrollCBDD has set aside funding and is prepared to offer financial support to both HPC and ADS providers in Carroll County to assist in overcoming those challenges. It is the Board’s intent that providers of Carroll County would continue to have the resources to provide quality services and ensure the health and safety of both individuals serviced as well as provider staff.
This financial assistance is in addition to what is being offered by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) in collaboration with County Boards of Developmental Disabilities and is not intended to supplement any existing Medicaid reimbursement rates.
The term of this funding assistance is for expenses incurred from March 24th, 2020 (the date that Governor Mike DeWine ordered the closure of adult day service locations serving more than 10 individuals) to May 15th, 2020.
To be eligible for this funding assistance, the provider must continue to provide direct services to individuals residing in Carroll County who are also served by CarrollCBDD during this pandemic.
Any provider who is awarded this funding assistance will be required to sign an indemnification agreement.
Providers of Carroll County can apply for the COVID-19 Provider Support Grant by submitting a written request describing the challenges they have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in the financial challenges they have experienced due to the pandemic. When applying, the provider must also accompany the written request with proof of payment of those financial challenges due to the pandemic and a signed Indemnification agreement provided with this grant letter. The Board will review applications and upon approval, will determine the amount of grant funding assistance awarded to the provider. Applications have to be submitted and received at the Board offices by 4:00pm, May 29th, 2020. Applications and all supporting documents plus the signed indemnification agreement should be mailed to Board offices at the address below to the attention of “Provider Support Grant”.
