Job Description:

One full-time Developmental Specialist working with the Carroll County Early Intervention Team is available. The Successful applicant will be hired by Carroll County Board of Developmental Disabilities and housed at Carroll Hills School. This is a twelve-month position working Monday-Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in nursing, education, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required with the ability to become a certified early intervention specialist through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The certification can be obtained after employment begins. This position involves working with infants and toddlers from birth to the age of three in the child's home or another natural environment. This position does involve driving; a valid Ohio driver's license and proof of insurance is required; mileage is reimbursed at the 2025 federal rate. Applicants must be outgoing and possess the ability to support young children and families with diagnosed and/or suspected delays and disabilities.  The salary range for this position is $41,691 - $65,701, along with excellent county benefits, Ohio Public Employee Retirement System, accrued time off and twelve paid holidays.  The selected applicant must pass a drug screen and background check.
