February 2022 Success Story

Aaron Miller

Aaron Miller

Aaron Miller was born profoundly deaf and when he was a baby his family was told he would never walk, talk, or have any capacity to learn.  Aaron proved those statements untrue as he is a licensed driver and a graduate of Carrollton High School and Buckeye Career Center.  He was very involved in the marching band percussion section in high school and loved every minute of it.  Communication has been a challenge, but Aaron has been implanted with cochlear implants and can hear and understand most spoken language.

Aaron is now 24 years old and recently celebrated his one-year work anniversary at The Ohio Grille.   He has a great work ethic, knows his job duties, and has built great working relationships with his coworkers.

In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his new nephew, The Ohio State Buckeyes, watching baseball, eating pizza, and taking care of his bright red truck.  He’s also an avid traveler and can travel independently to Colorado to visit family.

Aaron enjoys his life and cares deeply about everything and everyone that comes his way.  He is an ordinary young man who wants what most people want in life.  He wants family and friends who he can love and who love him.

Best of luck in your future endeavors, Aaron!
